Pneumonia Multi-5「KAINOS」

This kit is for detecting the following five pneumonia causative bacteria : Streptococcus pneumoniae (Sp) , Haemophilus influenzae (Hi), Mycoplasma pneumoniae (Mp), Legionella pneumophila (Lp) and Chlamydophila pneumoniae (Cp).

Multiplex NASBA (Nucleic Acid Sequence-Based Amplification) and NAC (Nucleic Acid Chromatography) method are used in this kit to amplify the five bacteria in a single tube and identify the five amplicons on the single NAC strip, respectively.
