NorovirusGI/GII「KAINOS」

Norovirus causing acute gastroenteritis is single-stranded RNA virus and is genetically diverse: it is generally divided into two genetic groups Genogroup I (GI) and Genogroup II (GII), which are further categorized into 14 and 17 genotypes, respectively.

This kit is for detecting noroviruses, which combined NASBA (Nucleic Acid Sequence-Based Amplification) method that directly amplifies viral RNAs and NAC (Nucleic Acid Chromatography) method that easily identified the amplicons.

This kit contains NASBA primers specially designed to amplify both norovirus GI and GII in a single tube and NAC strip to identify both GI and GII on the single strip.
